What campers say

Riverside Park Campground sits in a wooded, convenient north-Springfield location near the freeway. Many guests praise its quiet, shady sites, wildlife and picnic areas and reasonable nightly rates, making it a good choice for tent campers and smaller trailers. Trade-offs include basic, outdated bathhouse and shower facilities that often need cleaning, rough bumpy internal roads and some unlevel or tight sites that can be hard for large motorhomes to maneuver. Water and electric hookups are available but occasional outages and spotty maintenance have been reported. Experiences with staff and nighttime noise are mixed.
