I have been dying to try this place out, just a bit of history, this site used to be a hotel on piers on the beach that was in Galveston for years the last hurricane we had, Ike, took it out and the owners or whoever purchased the land turned it into a super nice RV resort. As I just got my RV over the summer, I was not able to book this place as they sell out just about every weekend. The did have one weekend open but I could only stay one night and on the weekends they require a two night stay. you will be able to tell by the website this is a nice place, but it is a bit pricy, but it is right on the beach,

What campers say
Sandpiper RV Resort sits directly on the seawall with easy walking access to the beach and nearby restaurants. Sites are generally well-kept with level concrete pads and full hookups; guests highlight the infinity pool, hot tub, clubhouse, laundry and gated security. Staff are frequently described as friendly and helpful, and showers are noted as clean with private stalls. As tradeoffs, some guests report occasional mowing or mosquito problems that limit outdoor time, sporadic after-hours reception or bathroom complaints, and variable TV reception. Overall the park offers convenient beachside amenities with a few intermittent service and pest issues.
