Scenic riverside campground with friendly, attentive staff and a relaxed, peaceful atmosphere. The river provides soothing white-noise and good stargazing from the bridge; some sites are large and set back, while others sit closer together. Facilities are basic DEC-style—bathrooms and hot showers reported clean at times but occasional weekend maintenance issues have been noted. There are no hookups and some loops/roadways are narrow with low trees, which can be tight for longer rigs. River sections can be fast and rocky, limiting swimming/kayaking though fishing near the bridge is possible. Bring bear-safe precautions and expect limited cell signal.
