What campers say
Rocky Springs Campground is a free, first-come, first-served primitive spot along the Natchez Trace that many visitors praise for its quiet, shaded sites, fire rings, picnic tables and dark skies ideal for stargazing. Sites are spaced with trees and some creek access and nearby trails; stays are typically limited to 14 days. Amenities are minimal: flush toilets are available and generally kept clean, but there are no showers, no potable water, and no hookups. Cell service is often unreliable and the campground fills in warmer months. Bring your own water, supplies and basic toilet paper.
