What campers say

Rock Island Campground sits along the Icicle River and gorge, offering striking scenery, river access and nearby hiking trails that make it a strong base for swimming, fishing and day hikes. Visitors consistently describe well‑kept, quiet campsites ideal for families or those seeking solitude. Water is limited—this is largely dry camping—so bring your own supplies, though some sites are near a spigot and basic restrooms. Sites are first‑come/first‑served, so plan to arrive earlier in the day to secure a spot. Overall a scenic, low‑key location for outdoor recreation with minimal amenities.
