The park is under new management who are working to clean it up. Apparently previous management let the guests stay and collect the stuff that long term guests collect and the park is looking pretty sad as a result. Nearly all the full hookup sites are taken by long term guests and some of those rigs were downright scary. We were placed in a pull thru partial hookup site next to what ended up being a seasonal trailer. The guy was parked really poorly and arrived after we were setting up. Apparently he claimed domain over our site area and that was when we discovered just how awesome the management is. I brought the issue to her instead of dealing with the dude and she had him laughing and smiling as she told him to essentially shut up :). Good service is hard to find but when you find it you love it. Garibaldi is a fishing town and draws in fisher-folk (PC word). Tip: drive through the county park (Barview Jetty) campground and park right next to the jetty. A beautiful sandy beach awaits! Verizon 4G and phone were solid. A historic train runs right from the station next door, small bakery across the street, walking access to everything. We paid $30 per night and would stay again if this management is still there.

What campers say
Roam Tillamook RV Resort offers clean, modern facilities and a helpful on-site team. Guests frequently noted spotless restrooms, showers and laundry, plus newer cabins with gas fire pits and porches. The waterfront location is convenient for fishing, clamming, crabbing and beach walks, and an on-site bar/restaurant provides nearby dining. Sites can be relatively close together but visitors report a friendly atmosphere and full hookups for RVs. Practical drawbacks mentioned include a rough, pothole-prone access road that may require careful driving, occasional grass clippings around sites, and a sauna some found mild.
