Riverwood Park Campground sits right on the water with outstanding views and frequent wildlife sightings including manatees and dolphins. Many guests praised the setting and a friendly, helpful on‑site host, but several also described dated, poorly maintained grounds: crumbling concrete pads, narrow/tight sites, potholes and overhanging limbs that can make maneuvering difficult. Facilities appeared inconsistent — some sites had full hookups that worked while others reported unreliable water and little to no public restrooms or showers. A few visitors noted a cash‑only nightly rate and sparse signage/direction. Good choice for scenery, but come prepared and expect basic, aged infrastructure.
