Indian Mound Fish Camp is a well-maintained, family-run waterfront campground popular with anglers and nature lovers. Staff and owners are consistently described as friendly and helpful, and cabins/sites are kept clean and roomy enough for large rigs. On-site amenities include a well-stocked bait and tackle shop, private docks, full hookups, and small recreation additions (basketball, pickleball). Wildlife sightings—manatees, dolphins and many birds—are common and add to the experience. Practical tradeoffs noted include bothersome no-see-ums at times (bring insect repellent) and that restrooms, while very clean, may lack air conditioning.
