River Bend County Park is a well-kept, riverfront campground with wooded, level sites that feel spacious and private. Trails lead down to the river for swimming, floating and easy walks; yurts and cabins (including deluxe options) are available and comfortable. Restrooms and private showers are consistently clean and staff are friendly, and the park generally feels quiet and family-friendly. Practical tradeoffs: there can be limited cell service, the pet exercise area is large but not fenced, and there is a $15 dump fee even for registered campers. The layout also accommodates group gatherings without feeling crowded.
