📖 About This Campground
Located in the Angeles National Forest, Pyramid Lake is a scenic 1,360-acre reservoir nestled between the Angeles and Los Padres National Forests. The Los Alamos Campground, situated at 43101 Pyramid Lake Road, offers a convenient and tranquil camping experience just 90 minutes north of Los Angeles.

Boating & Water Sports: Enjoy jet skiing, wakeboarding, and fishing on Pyramid Lake. Boat rentals are available, including fishing boats, deluxe boats, and pontoon boats. All vessels must pass a quagga mussel inspection before launching.

Fishing: The lake is home to various fish species, including largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, striped bass, bluegill, crappie, and some trout. Fishing is available from all locations around the lake.

Swimming & Picnicking: Vaquero Beach offers a wide sandy beach for swimming and picnicking. Other day-use areas like Spanish Point, Bear Trap, Yellowbar, and Serrano are accessible by boat and provide unique picnic spots.
