Small, scenic campground set within easy walking distance of the lake, offering good views and generally quiet, uncrowded sites. Many spots have trees and shade; some sites sit near a highway so lakeside spots can be brighter. Amenities are limited: running water is scarce, several taps are capped and bathrooms or showers have faced outages, so portable toilets are provided and reported to be kept clean. Occasional algae closures have restricted water access in the past. Hosts are generally helpful. Good choice if you prioritize scenery and solitude and can tolerate limited facilities.
