About eight sites sit fairly close together, so privacy is limited, but nights are generally quiet. Facilities are basic: vault toilets, bear boxes at sites, and seasonal potable water; a summer caretaker is often present. The setting offers good vistas and trails, but visitors should expect insects (flies, wasps, yellow jackets, ants and spiders reported) and no hookups or reliable cell signal. Overall a tidy, convenient stopover if you pack for wildlife and bugs.
