Lost Claim Campground is a small, primitive site a short drive from Yosemite’s Big Oak Flat entrance (roughly 15–20 minutes). Sites offer picnic tables and fire rings; water is from a hand pump and three centrally located vault toilets serve the loop. Bear lockers are reportedly large and new. Campsites vary in size and slope, so level parking may be limited and trailers might be awkward. Many visitors find it quiet and clean, though nearby cattle can be noisy at times, and a few guests reported missing items, so take usual precautions and bring your own water and firewood.
