A nice park in a bad area of town. We did not feel safe and heard rumors of frequent robberies at night.

What campers say
Paradise Island RV Resort sits close to Oakland Park Blvd and I‑95, putting Fort Lauderdale beaches and local transit within easy reach. Staff are frequently described as welcoming and helpful, with on-site assistance for parking and electrical issues. Facilities such as the pool, restrooms and a card-operated laundry are generally kept clean. Tradeoffs include tight, uneven sites that can be difficult for long rigs, a mix of well-kept and run-down lots, and noise from nearby traffic and bars. A few reviewers reported safety concerns walking outside and occasional reservation or office-staffing problems, so weigh convenience against these limitations.
