Oxford Ranch Campground offers mostly dry, dispersed camping across an oak-studded 160-acre ranch with fire rings and picnic tables. Several electric sites are available near the entrance but are close together. Facilities are basic: a bathhouse with showers and toilets, a port-a-potty, a dump station and a water fill (well water may be untested). Hosts are described as friendly and payment is often via a drop box. The property is well-maintained, dark at night for stargazing, and close to Llano and Enchanted Rock. Many visitors note budget-friendly rates. Expect occasional resident dogs and cattle and bring supplies for primitive camping.
