Owls Nest Campground is a small, well-kept RV park near Junction City and Fort Riley with full hookups, a mix of pull-through and back-in sites, and some shaded spots. Staff and many long-term residents are described as friendly, and the grounds are generally clean. Practical tradeoffs include noticeable noise from nearby I-70/highway, tighter maneuvering that may be challenging for very large rigs (several reviewers recommend caution over about 40 ft), and restroom/shower facilities that seem geared more to RV guests than tent campers. Laundry and propane exchange are available, though equipment can be inconsistent.
