Open Air Spicewood sits in a scenic hill‑country location with easy access to nearby markets and golf, and many guests praise friendly, helpful on‑site staff and an attractive clubhouse and pool when maintained. At the same time, recurring complaints note inconsistent upkeep and cleanliness: older laundry machines, overgrown sites with burrs/goat heads, a poorly kept pond in places, and spotty trash service. A few reviewers also raised security and RV‑age enforcement concerns, and construction traffic on the adjacent road was mentioned.
