This is our second stay at Old Settlers RV park. We like to stay here because it's right across the street from Dell Diamond where the minor league baseball team The Round Rock Express plays. There are two separate camping areas and both have nice back-ins (not very long, though) and long pull throughs. Sites are all full hook ups on gravel. They don't take reservations which has not been a problem for us although they told us there were a lot of graduations and sporting events in the near future and they would be very full. It's close to town and the original "round rock" and other attractions. Wal-Mart and many other stores right down the street. Very convenient.

What campers say
Old Settlers RV Park is a basic, budget-friendly option in Round Rock with an excellent location bordering Old Settlers Park, trails, playgrounds, and near Dell Diamond and dining. Sites are gravel, close together, and generally bare-bones, though full hookups and 30/50-amp service are available. The park operates first-come, first-served with no reservation system, and several reviewers note many long-term occupants which can make finding a short-term spot difficult. Staff are often described as friendly and helpful but communication appears inconsistent. Be aware of occasional reports of cleanliness and pest problems; consider these tradeoffs when planning a stay.

Review submitted via Youtube: " jason riley This park could be good but the park operators are perhaps the worst RV park operators in the entire state of Texas. They absolutely do not know what they're doing. Let's put it this way...they don't take reservations because they think somehow that is a better experience for everyone."
