My rating is based upon this location being a one-night overnight stop off Interstate 40. I give it five stars for this purpose. For a destination to stay longer this is not five stars it would be more like a three star Park. They have large signs that direct you to the location easily seen at night there's a convenient truck accessible fuel station between the park and the interstate. Their office was lit and how to clear directions on where to go to get a site. The sites are as the other reviewer explained very long sites. This park is a former and partially still is Mobile Home Park. The campsites are set up for mobile homes used to be so they are very large. The price is reasonable to and based upon the amount of utilities you desire 50 amp is more than 30 amp. Did not use any of the other facilities but compared to the KOA nearby the place was $20 for nine less expensive. If you're not picky and you looking for a nice place to sleep overnight this is it.

OLD 50’s era RV Park Most recent stay 5-04-16 [I’m late on writing my review] ~ We camp in a "Tear Drop” style RV only 15' long w/o toilet or shower ~ plus we like to eat outdoors using the picnic table and set up our dining canopy for sun and weather protection and thus rely on condition of campgrounds facilities and being nearby our site ~ so our critique is focused in that area. This is a Big Rig type RV park on gravel parking lot with full hookups and broken/cracked asphalt patio with picnic table. Got site close to shower / restroom building however it’s ugly – old – outdated – in sore need of some TLC and upgrading. (There’s a Home Depot 50 mi away in Show Low AZ) A good thing is the showers are generous size, have good pressure and lots of hot water and a door on each stall that affords full privacy and were very clean and didn’t smell. The sites are the longest I've ever seen. All pull thru and probably 80-90 feet long. Parking-lot style side by side on gravel, but they are set up so that RV’s alternate so you really aren't right next to anyone. There are about six different sewer connections per site ~ really ~ and the electric, water, and cable is located toward the rear of the sites. All worked well. Great for overnight stay in big rig motor home 5th wheel or travel trailer, but not so great for pop up trailer, tear drop trailer, and definitely not for a tent. Overall the place was very clean. Desert setting so no grass, still I consider this as base camp for visiting the Petrified Forest National Park and whatever else you want to see in the area, but disagree with Good Sam 9-star rating for restrooms ~ 9 star really? ~ how’s that possible? It’s downright misleading
