📖 About This Campground
The Needles Campground in Canyonlands National Park offers 26 primitive RV and tent camping sites. First come first served in the Needles District. Group sites also available. Water is available seasonally. This campground tends to fill up during peak seasons in spring and fall. The remote location dictates that you come prepared; have a printed map and plenty of provisions. Pit toilets are available. Sites are all backins but many can handle even large RVs. Multiple hiking trails depart from this location. Enjoy majestic views from camp with sites that back up to a rock wall tucked into natural shrubs. Bathrooms with water and sinks are located in each camping loop (Campground A and B)
As of 2017 reservations will be REQUIRED for sites in Loop A during peak seasonal periods in spring and fall.
