What campers say
Small, quiet family-oriented campground on Virginia's Northern Neck with a riverfront park, boat ramp, swimming area and fishing access. Sites tend to be roomy for RVs, with picnic space, showers/bathrooms and a modest sundry shop; the owners are frequently described as hands-on and friendly. Practical tradeoffs include an eroding beachfront that requires periodic sand replenishment, limited onsite supplies, and seasonal insects that some visitors noted. The park is near Tappahannock and Warsaw for groceries or supplies, and policies (for example restrictions on car campers) can affect last-minute arrival. Good choice for a relaxed, nostalgic riverfront stay.
