What campers say

Muskegon State Park Channel Campground offers easy access to the channel and nearby Lake Michigan beaches, with frequent opportunities to watch freighters, sailboats, sunsets and water activities. Campsites are well spaced and good for families; hiking, birding, kayaking and biking are commonly enjoyed. Restrooms and showers are generally kept clean, though some shower facilities vary by building. Be aware some loops fill up and large commercial barges can be noisy at times, especially in fog. You’ll need a state park pass to enter; there’s no full campground store, though ice and firewood are often available.
