What a great City run Cooperative Park. We are heading into Muskegon with no specific reservation. Had left a message that we were interested in finding one night stay. Received a call as we were 20 miles away saying they had a one-night cancellation which we took. On arrival the site was a Primo site near the outlet to Lake Muskegon backing up against the canal where we can watch the boats from the fishing tournament roll in. I immediately stopped at the office and asked if they had any cancellations for the next night and by 5 that evening we had not only another reservation but didn't have to move to another site. The seasonal residents were very friendly and helpful. The shower houses were very clean and well-maintained and the laundry was on the honor System.

What campers say
Fisherman's Landing Campground sits on Muskegon Lake with waterfront sites, bike-trail access, and easy access to downtown and nearby beaches. Guests commonly note well-maintained grassy sites, paved parking, clean modern bathhouses, a playground and dock for fishing. The gated grounds feel secure, and staff have helped with backing into tight sites. Tradeoffs: many sites are close together so maneuvering and privacy can be limited, tenting spots back up to a parking area, and some visitors reported inconsistent access to fish-cleaning facilities. A few guests described poor customer-service experiences, so clarify cancellation and amenity policies when booking.
