What campers say
Moose Point State Park is a compact, well-kept coastal day-use park with scenic views of Penobscot Bay and a rocky shoreline. A well-maintained 1.2-mile loop and flat trails with benches make for easy family walks; picnic tables, grills, a playground, restrooms and a group gazebo add conveniences. There is a modest entrance fee and limited parking during busy times. Dogs are allowed on walks and some visitors report wildlife sightings such as eagles and occasional porpoise. It’s ideal for a relaxed seaside outing and photography, but not for overnight camping.
