Monument Point Camping is a quiet, family-oriented campground noted for exceptionally clean bathrooms and showers and friendly, helpful on-site owners. Sites are wooded, shaded and fairly private, with many seasonal RVers and easy drives to area beaches and state parks. Practical tradeoffs include limited on-site kid amenities (basic playground) and occasional mosquitoes; some guests mention strict policies and disputes with management, and a few have reported tent restrictions. Rates and firewood were described as reasonable by several visitors. Overall it’s a convenient, well-maintained base for exploring Door County if you’re prepared for modest on-site recreation and campground rules.
