Montrose Campground is a well-maintained, family-friendly park with friendly owners and an active seasonal community. Amenities consistently noted include a modern clean bathhouse, pool, playground, mini-golf, stocked camp store (RV parts), coin laundry, on-site propane and RV repair, and large sites with picnic tables and fire rings. There's a nature trail and pond for fishing, and it's a short drive to town and nearby state parks. The setting is wooded and somewhat rural — GPS can route onto dirt roads. A small number of visitors reported an uncomfortable neighbor incident and an unresolved refund concern.
