Sites are spacious, often with full hookups and river views, and the park is quiet and conveniently within walking distance of groceries, hardware, and downtown Fairplay (about 30 minutes to Breckenridge). Pet-friendly trails and waste stations are available, though guests note occasional dog barking and some untidy spots left by owners. A practical tradeoff: water to sites can be shut off in subfreezing weather, so winter guests should plan accordingly.
