"park was resurfaced, six nonelectrical sites were converted to electrical, electrical campsites were upgraded to 50-amp electrical service, lighting in caves were upgraded to LED, and the Dancehall Cave was cleaned after years of flood sediment. The popular Maquoketa Caves State Park will be closed for the summer due to construction.
