Major's Station Bar & RV Park

This place has a million dollar view at sunset looking east towards Great Basin National Park. Overall the RV sites are an after thought/ source of extra income. It is a huge dirt lot behind the bar with plenty of room for the biggest of rigs to back-in to the sites. It would be tight if full. 30 and 20 amp electric, water, and sewer. A bunch of their water spigots are damaged, the one we had leaked all over and caused an ice rink in the morning. At night it is very quiet. Popular spot for hunters to stay as evidenced by all the antlers and carcasses strapped to the fence line - cool but eerie too. The bar is a must see if traveling US 50 very neat old west feel with dollar bills stapled to the ceiling. We paid $30 for the night and the bar and view made it worth it. If just overnighting along US 50 this is THE place to stay rather than the KOA back in Ely. Site is off level front to back by about 4 inches over 40 feet. NO VERIZON SIGNAL AT ALL.
