Visitors commonly note the park is well maintained, with clean restrooms and hot showers, a small lake with a beach, boat launch and rentals, and a nearby concession stand selling food, ice cream and firewood. The lake offers trout fishing and only electric motors are allowed. Camp sites are generally large and level, suitable for tents or RVs, and some accommodate toy haulers; bathhouses are convenient. The park is noted for very dark night skies and excellent Milky Way viewing. Expect limited to no cell or internet service in the camping area and varying degrees of campsite privacy.
