What campers say

Small, well-maintained National Park campground set at about 2,400' with paved roads and parking, picnic tables and tent pads. Sites are generally spaced apart, though a few are close together and some are uneven or sloped. A limited number of sites offer water and electrical hookups—bring a filter for sediment-prone spigots. Restrooms are clean with flush toilets but no showers. The location gives easy access to the Smokies and reliable cell service in places, but the adjacent Foothills Parkway can create noticeable motorcycle and traffic noise at times. Helpful on-site hosts and a wooded, restful setting are highlights.
