What campers say

Long Pine Key Campground sits inside Everglades National Park and offers quiet, well-spaced sites, a scenic lake with abundant wildlife, and clean bathrooms and solar-heated showers. It's dry camping (no electric/water hookups); generators are limited to daytime hours and a dump station and potable water are at the entrance. Practical drawbacks include shorter paved pads that can be tight for longer travel trailers, some sites positioned close to the roadway or poorly laid out for awnings and picnic tables, and hard ground for tent stakes. Expect tranquil drives to park attractions and bring a flashlight and stout stakes.
