This park is very popular with snowbirds for two primary reasons and the first, and biggest is price. Their monthly rate is cheap. The second reason is it is a full hookup RV park built within a public park. Nice trails a scenic lake, playgrounds and all the things that parks provide. The price is reasonable and the sites can handle any size rig. The only gripe, if you can call it that, is that all the sites are on little circles so you end up camping right on top of one another even though there is good spacing between rigs, it just feels a little close. Verizon 4G was solid and you are right next to the Miami Zoo (but do have to drive to get there). Paid $200 for 1 week.

Large, family-friendly county campground with roomy, well-maintained RV sites, clean restrooms and showers, an air-conditioned rec center, pool, and a bike/hike trail to a nearby lake. Sites can be tight in some loops but offer full hookups and visible park/ranger and sheriff patrols that many guests find reassuring (some visitors describe enforcement as strict). Expect traffic noise from nearby roads and occasional low-flying helicopters; wildlife like raccoons is common and there are isolated reports of rodents. Pool rules, tent-area pet/car restrictions, and nighttime bathroom hours can be frustrating. Grocery stores are close, downtown Miami requires a drive.
