What campers say
Lincoln Bridge State Forest offers a scenic, river-side setting with walk-in campsites spread along a ridge above the river. It’s popular for hiking, fishing and paddling and provides easy water access at the bridge, but sites are rustic and walk-in only. Expect some elevation changes on trails and overgrown vegetation in places; a walking stick and bug spray may help. Motorized recreation (ATVs) is common nearby and can be noisy at times. Bathroom facilities are basic (pit toilets) and cleanliness appears to vary. Parking is available at either end; the north area may be preferable to avoid south-side campers.
