What campers say

Leonard Harrison State Park offers spectacular overlooks of Pine Creek Gorge—the "PA Grand Canyon"—with multi-level observation decks and sweeping canyon views. Trails are well maintained and range from easy overlooks to steeper, stair‑filled hikes that can be strenuous for those with mobility issues; some routes descend to a waterfall and riverside viewpoints. A visitor center with a gift shop, restrooms and ample parking (including EV charging) serves day visitors. Recent parking reconfiguration and reduced on-site food options have disappointed some guests. Campground facilities are generally clean, though a number of visitors note sites offer limited privacy.
