Lake Vermilion Soudan Underground Mine State Park Campground

Lake Vermilion Soudan Underground Mine State Park Campground in Soudan Minnesota (Tower) offers 33 partial (electric) and primitive hookup RV and tent camping sites in a new state park campground focused on good spacing and privacy between sites. The state park allows visitors to explore and learn about underground mining operations. In addition to the regular campsites there are 3 group camping areas including 2 for RV or tents and 1 for a more primitive/ rustic camping experience. Potable water is available along with modern restrooms. Boaters also have access to the water via a new boat launch and trailer parking facility. Campground opened in 2017.
