What campers say

Bear Head Lake State Park offers scenic pine forests and a beautiful lakeshore with easy water access, docks and affordable kayak/boat rentals, making it popular for families, day use and paddling. Camp sites and backpack sites feel secluded and spacious; cabins and a group room provide weather-friendly options. Trails (including the Norberg loop) are scenic though limited in mileage. Practical tradeoffs: electric sites tend to be gravel-heavy and can be less tent-friendly and may collect water in heavy rain, the access road is winding, and mosquitoes can be active seasonally. Restrooms and showers are generally clean and well maintained.

Nice Park, some sites might be tough to back a TT into.
