Lake Simtustus Resort is a family-friendly lakeside campground with well-maintained grounds and consistently clean restrooms and showers. Staff are frequently described as friendly and helpful. On-site recreation is a highlight — paddleboards, kayaks, pontoon and boat rentals, a waterslide pontoon, playground and courts for pickleball/tennis/volleyball offer plenty to do. The park is arranged on multiple levels with lakefront sites; steep hills make a golf cart highly recommended. Sites tend to be gravel and fairly close together with mostly back-in spots, and some guests note the check-in process could be smoother. Overall it suits families and anglers looking for active lake access.
