What campers say

Lake Lurleen State Park is a well-maintained lakeside park many visitors praise for recent renovations, clean restrooms and showers, coin laundry, and roomy campsites with water, grills, picnic tables and paved/decked tent or RV pads and hookups. The beach and swim area, fishing (restricted in the swim zone), and rental options (kayaks, paddle boats, jet skis) support water recreation, while trails accommodate hiking and mountain biking. Staff are generally friendly and the setting is peaceful, though there is an entry fee, some trails are long and require supplies, and parked RVs near the entrance have bothered a few visitors.

A very beautiful state park with shaded sites boarding a picturesque lake. Good fishing and some challenging hiking trails. The sites are showing some age but everything works. Price is very good at $23 per night with full hookups.
