Lake in the Forest RV Resort is a relaxed, family-oriented campground set among mature oaks on a small lake. Visitors commonly praise the friendly, accommodating owners and a community feel, with miniature horses, a pool, kayaking and a practice golf hole for kids. Sites include full hookups and many spots are shady and roomy, which works well for RVs and cabins; however, some guests note tighter, less shaded sites and ongoing maintenance needs in cabins and facilities. The park is somewhat remote and parts are occupied by seasonal residents, so reservations are recommended and expect to bring basic supplies.
