Lake Cody is a family-oriented, well-kept campground centered on a small lake with a beach, swimming area, inflatables, walking/golf-cart path and playground—good for kids and light recreation. Many sites are long-term/seasonal, though a handful of roomy pull-through sites and full 30/50A hookups accommodate short-term visitors. Owners live on-site and are generally helpful, but some guests report mixed interactions with staff and occasional social friction with permanent residents. Facilities are basic: clean grounds but limited bath/shower amenities and some older rigs on site. Easy access off Hwy 30 and close to a convenience store make resupply practical.
