What campers say

Lake Arbuckle Park and Campground offers a scenic, wooded lakeside setting popular for fishing, boating and wildlife viewing. Many guests praise the beautiful sunrises, peaceful atmosphere and opportunities to see alligators, raccoons, armadillos and more. Sites vary from tent spots with fire rings to hookups and a central dump station; camping is generally first-come, first-served and the public boat ramp can generate early-morning activity. Expect closely spaced sites and mixed reports about restroom and shower cleanliness, and take insect repellent for mosquitoes. Overall a pleasant, rustic spot if you're prepared for these tradeoffs.

I have camped here since 1990. Always enjoyed our stay. Can't say the same anymore the attendant is nosy, rude and circles your camp site periodically. Very nosy. Not nice at all never says thank you and his living quarters is a complete train-wreck of an eyesore! Unreal. The docks have been destroyed now since hurricane Irma. Huge gaping hole at the boat walk with rotted steps. Unreal! Sad to have to say goodbye to what was once one of the greatest campsites around.
