Lake Alma State Park is a compact, family-friendly park centered on a 60-acre lake with a footbridge to a small island. It offers clear water, a sand swim area, boat rentals and a ramp for kayaks, canoes and small hand-powered boats, plus picnic areas, a playground and trails that circle the lake and island. The campground has tent sites and hookups (many electric-only sites with a water fill station), shaded sites, restrooms and shower rooms. Expect tight campsite spacing and occasional shower lines; fishing from shore can be grassy so a boat improves chances. Pets are welcome, including a fenced dog area.
