Well maintained sites, friendly staff, is a noisy park - freeway to the west and freight train line to the east across the river, especially at night the trains come through and blow the horn frequently. We stayed with a 41’ 5th wheel on the east side by the river which is the pretty side of the park.

What campers say
Colorado Springs KOA Holiday is a family-focused campground offering many kid-friendly amenities — a splash pad, small pool with adjacent 18+ hot tub, craft room, bounce pad, wagon/hay rides and regular daily activities — and staff frequently noted as friendly and accommodating. Many sites have full hookups, shade and convenient on-site retail. Cleanliness is commonly praised, though some guests report aging pool furniture, rusted playground elements, a deflated jump pad and tight tent spaces. A late-night hayride horn disturbance and an isolated, serious safety incident were reported; confirm current safety measures and quiet-hours enforcement before booking.
