Golden Eagle Campground is a well-kept foothills park about 15–30 minutes south of Colorado Springs, with a small fishing lake, shaded sites, picnic tables and fire pits. Guests commonly praise the friendly, responsive staff and clean facilities — newer laundry machines and maintained restrooms, though some buildings are older. Many sites offer trees and privacy with full hookups, but water/electric connections can be tucked into brush and some spots are snug or rocky.
