📖 About This Campground
Klahanie Campground near Forks Washington is a US Forest Service campground (Olympic National Forest) provides primitive tent and RV camping in a heavily wooded setting. Inexpensively priced the campground is accessed via a paved road that passed through land utilized by logging companies (including clear cuts). The primitive campground is not well appointed but the sites have excellent spacing and privacy. Campground roads and sites are dirt and they can be muddy (stay on the packed surface to avoid getting stuck)
Located on the South Fork Calawah River the campground is surrounded by old growth forest. Vault toilets, picnic tables and fire rings. First come first served basis.
Due to down trees there are a few hike-in campsites.
