Set on Mackay Reservoir with wide views of the Lost River range, Joe T. Fallini Recreation Site offers scenic sunsets, regular wildlife sightings, and easy access to fishing and hiking. Most paved sites have picnic tables, grills, fire rings and many include electricity and water; a sani-dump is nearby and there’s a developed boat launch with a concrete ramp. Facilities are basic—pit toilets/outhouses rather than flush restrooms—and sites are primarily RV-oriented with only a few tent sites available. Fees are low (one report listed $12 with a senior pass) and there are no reservations, making it a convenient stop for overnight or short stays.
