Park is in a great location with a wonderful bike trail adjacent to the place. Not luxury camping but perfect to get away. Lots of bugs in spring so just be ready. Overall a wonderful experience.

Jekyll Island Campground sits on a beautiful, bikeable island with easy access to Driftwood Beach and trails. The grounds are shaded by large oaks, staff are friendly, and bathhouses and amenities are generally well maintained. Sites tend to be packed close together with limited privacy and narrow roads or low branches that require care for larger rigs. Mosquitoes can be severe at times, so bring strong repellent. Some areas may be muddy after rain and tent sites can flood. Wi-fi is reported unreliable. Overall a convenient, family-oriented beach campground with predictable tradeoffs.
