Sandy beaches, floating docks, a small slide, playground, rental options and food trucks make it a lively day-use spot, especially in summer and around holidays. The county campground offers concrete RV pads, picnic tables and electric/water hookups but generally lacks sewer hookups, showers and has pit-style restrooms, so plan for dump stations nearby. Expect crowds in peak season, occasional murky or cool water early in summer, and a peaceful setting at quieter times.

Jefferson County Lake Campground near Rigby Idaho offers partial hookup RV and tent camping in a scenic area adjacent to a natural fresh water recreational lake. The popular location offers reasonable rates and a great place to recreate with family and friends. Reservations available the only downside is that some sites do have highway noise. Bathrooms, volleyball nets, playground equipment, a tennis court, sandy beaches, a lake slide, grassy areas, walking trails, a boat ramp for non-motorized boats, small shelters on a first come first serve basis outside the camping fee area, and large shelters by reservation only. Open seasonally.
