📖 About This Campground
Jacob Lake Campground in Jacob Lake Arizona is a US Forest Service managed campground (Kaibab National Forest) providing primitive (no hookup) tent and RV sites just off US 89 at the intersection of the North Grand Canyon Rd. Gravel roads and parking pads with thinned trees (logged to eliminate over-growth) the campground is well kept. Advanced reservations are available via Reserve America and sites available on a first come first served basis. Most any size RV will fit. A designated group camping area is available.
Across the highway is a fuel filling station, small market and restaurant. Jacobs Lake is located at near 8,000 feet allowing for cool summer days and comfortable sleeping at night. 45 miles to the Grand Canyon North area this is a popular stop for people doing the grand loop of National Parks. If you want to enjoy adventure closer to camp there are miles of forest service roads departing from Jacobs Lake allowing for exploration in the scenic woods. Vault toilets with fresh water spigots available in the campground. At the campsites expect either pull thru or backin sites with a tent area, picnic tables, and fire grates.
